Getting Started
When your number is added to Sunday Nudge, you'll receive a text asking for your consent. Reply YES to activate your account. Until you reply YES, no reminders will be sent to you.
Setting a Reminder
Just text naturally — no special format required.
- –Call Joe Tuesday 2pm
- –Dentist appointment March 12 at 10am
- –Pick up kids Friday at 3:30pm
- –Team meeting tomorrow at 9am
- –Remind me 30 minutes before my 3pm call with Sarah
The app will confirm what it understood and ask you to verify before saving anything:
Reply YES to save it or NO to discard it. If the app couldn't understand your message, it will ask follow-up questions to get the details it needs.
When Your Reminder Fires
At the scheduled time, you'll receive a text like this:
Commands
You can send these any time:
Deleting an Upcoming Reminder
If you want to remove a reminder before it fires, text DELETE. The app will show your upcoming reminders as a numbered list. Reply with the number to remove it.
Recurring Reminders
Include every day, every week, every month, or every year in your message to set up a repeating reminder.
- –Take vitamins every day at 8am
- –Team standup every Monday at 9am
- –Pay rent every month on the 1st at 10am
- –Dad's birthday every year March 12 at noon
The confirmation will show the recurrence so you can verify before saving:
Once saved, Sunday Nudge automatically schedules the next occurrence after each reminder fires. To stop a recurring reminder, use DELETE to cancel the next upcoming occurrence — that stops the chain.
Tips
- –Relative dates work: "tomorrow," "next Tuesday," "this Friday"
- –Specific dates work: "March 12," "April 3rd at 2pm"
- –Lead times work: "remind me 30 minutes before my 3pm meeting" fires the reminder at 2:30pm
- –To be reminded at a specific time, just say that time: "Call Joe at 3pm" fires the reminder at 3pm
- –Conversations time out after 20 minutes — if you start scheduling something and walk away, just start over with a new message
